Tywyn Beach Whatever the weather Tywyn Beach is the perfect place to relax or maybe even go for a walk. A favourite place for families, fishermen, dog walkers, surfers, kite fliers and everyone who wants to enjoy the sea air.

Tywyn Sunset Some spectacular sunsets can be witnessed from Tywyn Beach as the sun sets over the sea bathing everything in a golden glow.

Aberdyfi Harbour Coming into Tywyn from the South East, you will pass through the seaside town of Aberdyfi (home to the Outwood Bounds Activity Centre) where you will often find boats bobbing in the harbour.

Machynlleth River Just outside the historical town of Machynlleth (Pronounced Mac-un-th-leth) the road crosses the Dyfi River. This photograph is the view from the bridge.

Dolgoch Falls Just East of Tywyn, along the B4405 is a set of three spectacular waterfalls, which are breathtaking to watch.

Blue Lake Created from the remains of a flooded slate quarry, Blue Lake (as it is often known), just to the South of Fairbourne is a lovely place for a walk and a relaxing picnic by the waters edge.

Talyllyn Lake A little to the East of Dolgoch Falls is the Stunning Talyllyn Lake, surrounded by mountains and glistening in the sun. Another perfect place for a picnic or just to sit and relax watching the fishermen and wildlife.

Pony Trekking in Fairbourne Looking to try something a little more adventurous? How about pony trekking through private farmland along the Fairbourne Estuary and Beach (Depending on experience). A fun day out for anyone aged 4+ whether a beginner or experienced rider.

Talyllyn Steam Railway Fancy a ride on a real life Steam Railway? Winding through the Fathew Valley this is sure to be a hit for the whole family.

The Open Road Wherever you go in the Dyfi Valley, even if it's just for a drive, the countryside is always right there providing brilliant views.
